Lily loved calendars. She had one for every month, every year, every special day. She liked to highlight the important days with stickers and colors.
She always dreamed of being the “Queen of the Calendar”. So she could make new holidays whenever she wanted.
One day, she found a magic calendar under her bed. It had no dates, only blanks. She wondered what would happen if she wrote something on it. She took a pen and wrote “Lily’s birthday” on the first square.
The next day, she woke up to a surprise. Her parents made a cake and presents for her. They wished her a happy birthday and hugged her. Lily was confused. Her birthday was in October.
She looked at the calendar and saw that it had changed. The first square now said “October 22nd”. She realized that the calendar was magic. Whatever she wrote on it became true.
She wanted to have some fun with it. She wrote “Christmas” on the next square, “Halloween” on the third, and “Dragon Boat Festival” on the fourth. Soon, she became the queen of the calendar.
